Advent at Ravelin 2

On 7th and 8th December 2024 Advent will take place at Ravelin 2.

Far away from hectic and Christmas bustle. Every year during the 2nd Advent the old fortress walls of Ravelin 2 in Magdeburg are bathed in colourful lights. Besides regional delicacies and traditional handicrafts you will discover art and culture. Let yourself be enchanted and look forward to highlights of fire and ice.

Advent at Ravelin 2 – become addicted to the magic of Christmas

The Ravelin 2 belonged to the western ring of fortifications in Magdeburg and was used as a military facility until 1919. The facility served as protection for the western front of the fortress and the new railway line. After construction work in the 1970s, the Ravelin changed.

For the 2nd Advent the old Ravelin 2 shines in a colourful sea of lights and offers space for market booths of art, crafts and regional delicacies. During the cold months you can enjoy hot entertainment here: concerts, exhibitions, poetry slam, puppet theatre and fire show. Let yourself and your colleagues, meeting and conference guests be fascinated by the impressive scenery.
