Leipzig Book Fair

The Leipzig Book Fair takes place from 27 to 30 March 2025. The annual fair brings not only book lovers to the beautiful city, but also numerous publishers and authors.

Nationally and internationally. Furthermore, the Book Fair is the second largest book fair in Germany after Frankfurt. Usually there are about 2500 exhibitors and there are always expected about 280000 visitors from all over Germany – and even from other countries. Since 2014, the Manga Comic Convention has also been taking place within the framework of the Book Fair. Which also attracts lots of cosplayers. Another interesting thing to know is that the history of the Leipzig Book Fair goes back to the 17th century. For the first time books were presented in a fair-like format. We assume that this tradition will continue at least as long as that – if not forever.
