You can choose from 50 halls and rooms, all of which can be scaled down or up. Events with 500 or more participants can be held in the 3 sections West, Middle and East, they have separate entrances and exits so that the different events do not clash.

The outstanding dimension of the CCH should be emphasized: there is room for 12,000 participants, 12,000 m² of event space can be filled with 3 events at the same time and 12,000 m² of foyer space give seminar and exhibition participants enough room to move around freely.

CCH focuses on sustainability during renovation.

One of the most sought-after topics in the events industry is sustainability.

In 2023, CCH will celebrate its 50th anniversary. Some remodeling has already been done in recent years. But now CCH has been comprehensively rebuilt and modernized since 2017. The official opening took place in April 2022, and the sustainable concept includes a heat recovery system that uses air from the Planten un Blomen (Low German for plants and flowers) park next to the exhibition center. The natural cooling function of the park is the biggest plus point, as air conditioning could thus be avoided.

Parts of the CCH are listed as historic monuments, for example the pitcher lights, which were once designed and installed by an electrician from Pinneberg. To bring these lights up to date, the bulbs were replaced with LEDs, so the old lights, whose style matches the ambience of the hall, shine brightly at every event.

The sophisticated media technology is extremely energy-efficient and fits smoothly into the sustainable concept.

To give even more expression to sustainability, a company was chosen to pamper the congress and event participants with selected regional products during the events. This company has made it’s business to purchase only seasonal goods and to process them into delicious culinary dishes that leave nothing to be desired.
